Carolyn M. Turner is a Shareholder at Ashton Turner LaGatta, P.C., where she specializes in the representation of property owners and management companies in landlord-tenant law. Carolyn represents market and subsidized property owners, including national, regional and local real estate companies as well as individual property owners in the housing courts, district courts and superior courts in Massachusetts. Carolyn represents clients in litigating summary process matters and general civil litigation actions arising out of the landlord-tenant relationship. She also represents clients in matters involving the Boston Fair Housing Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Carolyn has extensive experience in advising clients on issues related to lease agreements, reasonable accommodations, discrimination, and HUD regulatory requirements. She is also licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and has represented numerous clients in litigation matters in the New Hampshire courts.
Attorney Turner has extensive trial experience and has successfully litigated complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts in a wide range of areas including professional malpractice, property damage, employment law and qui tam litigation.
